colorPol® polarizers are dichroic glass polarizers providing highest contrast and excellent transmission performance. Our products are characterized by a maximum of polarization specified by wavelength and contrast ratio. Spectral position of maximum polarization and contrast performance are adjusted by selected customized technological parameters.


Thickness of raw polarizer is specified by 0.2 mm to 0.5 mm, depending on the selected colorPol® polarizer. More options are realizable by laminating. The thickness of such parts is specified by 0.8 to 10 mm. A large number of different sizes and shapes are available upon request.


Standard products are advised for wavelength ranges of  340 - 415 nm in UV and

450 - 5000 nm in VIS and IR.colorPol® HT (High Transmission) provide transmissions up to 98%  and are recommended for the near infrared range (1200 - 2500 nm).


colorPol® S (structured) polarizers provide a wide range of different shaped areas with several orientations and wavelength ranges. Dimensions up to the 10 µm range are realizable.
