The colorPol® technology


The colorPol® technology performs uniform oriented prolate silver particles near-surface in soda lime glass. Silver particles absorb incident radiation. The intensity of absorption is affected by wavelength and polarization. Thereby, non-polarized light will be polarized linear and already polarized light is blocked or allowed to pass depending on orientation.Wavelength range, contrast and transmittance are adjustable by certain technological parameters.The flexibility of colorPol® technology provides production of customized polarizing filters with spectral characteristics, significant different to standard products.
